We are pleased to announce that, in partnership with our long-time friends at Wolf River Conservancy , we have successfully preserved and protected 38 acres of land near T.O. Fuller State Park through a conservation easement.

This 38-acre property, located off Weaver Road and known as Cypress Creek, will be used for educational purposes and to support the community-driven urban wood supply chain, Memphis Urban Wood. It will also enhance the natural habitats adjacent to the state park, protect natural infrastructure, and create educational opportunities and green space for nearby underserved communities.

Historically, this area has faced numerous challenges, including illegal dumping, disinvestment, and encroaching development. However, This property offers an opportunity to turn the tide. Responsible management will protect vital resources and enhance the natural habit.
