The Mobile Grocer is an extension of our South Memphis Farmer's Market functioning as a grocery store on wheels. This initiative was created to address food access issues in underserved areas while meeting a critical need by providing fresh, healthy food options directly to communities. By bringing nutritious food closer to home, The Mobile Grocer aims to promote healthier lifestyles and improve the overall wellbeing of residents in these neighborhoods.

 

The mobile grocer eases some of the challenges faced in food deserts through accessible lower cost groceries. It has helped to feed thousands on our weekly route and is diligently working to add even more locations as the need is so great.  Packed with the freshest produce, meats and dairy the mobile grocer is a fan favorite. The mobile staff allows shoppers to curate a customizable shopping experience from requesting specialty items to pre-orders and delivery.
