In the space of a month and a half, Roshun Austin has accepted two regional awards for the work of her soul — improving homes in neighborhoods where there’s been little investment in decades.
A third award is coming: the Ashoka Foundation and Brookings Institute have just named her one of 10 innovators in the first Valuing Homes in Black Communities Challenge.
