Safe Loans is the newest service of The Works. This program allows The Works to broker loan products to clients in Tennessee and Mississippi that are safe, sustainable alternatives to the predatory mortgage products that have begun to afflict our communities with foreclosures and bankruptcies.

The mission of Safe Loans is to provide responsible mortgage solutions for clients coupled with education and credit counseling; to provide an alternative source to mortgage brokers who offer high cost predatory loans; to provide a safe and affordable path to homeownership; and to help decrease the number of mortgage defaults and to increase the number of owner occupied homes in the Memphis area.
